increasingly

i find that the search for the perfect 1/2 tends towards a particular trend...
the person must be able to relate to me intellectually before i would pause in my swift gait of life and pay attention. Pretty faces will just be a momentary distraction.

I would say this of myself: i am not the sharpest blade in the kitchen, nor the wisest mind on the face of this world... but i have acquired a taste for learning and discussing the multi-faceted world in which we live.

i adore the springtime climate of blossoming flowers and lazy sunny weekends, for they allow me to sit before a computer terminal or with a small cloister of friends, chatting and discussing matters. I would say that i am not a leader, at this point in time.

i would seem to be a 'second man', as i often find myself a counsellor or advisor, in the current workplace, to some of my friends, in the endeavors that they are striving to achieve. Though i do also struggle with managing my own life. Would that affect the analysis of others... in determining if i am a worthy mate?

That said, personally, i appreciate wit, wisdom and caring hearts and thoughtful souls. People with these qualities... i do admire and like. I like to chat with people about different things... drawing (my primary, outsourcing functions (of which i am not encouraging of), the more... abstract matters of life, analysis of situations, personalities, interactions.. the topics usually linked to EQ. And i am probably among the least EQ people of my life. Life is a paradox.

I do, however, think deeply into life... the necessities and all. Example: if i am going for an event, it stretches from morning till evening, i need certain things, maybe food, extra for mates around me and also extra change of clothes etc. I would put myself into a 'play acting' mode and think... if i am 'so and so' and i am becoming a working professional... what would i need for my birthday...? And proceed to do shopping for that person... based on my guesstimation.

it is, very often, bad for the health of my wallet... but well... their happiness is worth the little sacrifice... i guess.

that is how i am... and i hope to keep growing and changing... from mod-1 to mod-2 to mod-J. that'll be cool.
