Another day of thanks
Thanks first be to God, who placed me here where i am.
That i may be of help to those around me.
We were supposed to meet with B Ryan for salvation BS, but he was busy, rushing around.
So he asked Elliot to cover for him while he prepare his stuff.
So we all reach Cityhall about the same time....
I brought Muang Chan Myae WIN to the 4th floor Christian bookstore above CityHall.
Bought him a NLT version of the Bible and chose a white one for him... Award gift Bible.
Not a leather bound copy... but... hope it meets his needs for now...
till i can afford a leather gift copy.
Peilong was already at the basement BK waiting for us...
Chose a seat where the sound didn't reverberate so much and had the salvation BS there.
Chan was not so good with English... so i was not too sure how much he understood... But it was a good time.
Peilong did well, covering the salvation BS. My friend was open and receptive...
On and off, by the side, i prompted Chan about things... helped with examples...
Then after the BS was over, we chatted and Chan and Peilong hit it off, being guitarists, they chatted about music.
We also spoke of languages and he told us that his name means Peace, SHINING.
(Surname in CAPS). Maybe his name foretold that he would carry the Light of the world to bring the Prince of Peace to Myanmar.
Then i asked him about my surname... both Tan and Chen.
well... it meant 'dead' and 'cold'. wow. Hahahaha!
Dead and cold to the world, but alive and rejoicing in Christ Jesus!
Very thankful for Peilong who gave the BS. Thanks mate!
