card making

Been a long while since i last made a card and i did one today... after the eons of inactivity...

it was a rather simple card... but it caused me to remember that...

creativity is from God.
[He has this 'last minute' idea thing for me... always inspiration at the last minute...]

footnote about last minute things:
i seriously dislike making cards at the last minute...
can't construct one properly *artist's perfectionist mindset*.
But God is either training me to work fast... or to manage my stress level... i can't tell yet.

to tell the truth... i am somewhat apologetic about the card i made...
It's a rather basic 2D card with some 'ornamental embellishments', not my usual *engineered* card.

The inspiration came on 23rd Dec 2008.
24th Dec i worked 1/2 day... and went for service after that.
And my system was shortly knocked out by beer at night... the amount..?
it was an inch deep of a 1 pint Hoegaarden cup.

probably 1/3 of a pint? more likely 1/4 of a pint.

So... anyway... said to someone i would make a card... so i did.

my word is my bond... a spur of the moment i said it, but gotta keep my it...
So 25th Dec at about 1130am... whilst on the MRT from AMK to Jurong East, i made the card, most of it anyway... while in the train.

then reached Jurong Point and bought a silver marker and Yoohoo glue.... finished it and all the writings between 230pm to 3pm... after NYNY lunch with the CG folks, while waiting from 2 new friends to come.

time to make me my bday card for me own bday... wooha!
