Pastor Phil's newsletter message

Quote - Goethe – ‘If you treat an individual as he is, he will stay that way, but if you treat him as if he were what he could be, he will become what he could be.’

Treat people with respect and they respond with dignity.
Treat people badly and they respond with disrepute.

Love brings the best out of the loved and the lover.

Open a door for someone. Let them go in front of you. Carry a bag for them. Get them coffee. Wait for them to finish. Listen well. Phone back promptly. Ask what they would like. Pay for the meal discreetly. Say thanks with a gift they would like.

Do the right thing!
This is how your world goes round!

The above is from Pastor Phil's news letter. I read it and it really inspires me and reminds me of something.

How we view others determine how we treat them.
How we treat others affect how they treat us.
Remember Nike ad? For every action, ther is an equal and opposite reaction

so when something 'negative' happens... find out why it happened... always ask if you did something to deserve the 'negative outcome'. Then question the other variables. that's how i think sometimes. And though some of the listed points by Pastor Phil seems like minor simple tasks.... it is the faithfulness in little things that leads to greatness in God.
