the 2005 walkabout

it is done...

at about 1230, i had reached home from a sojourn that began from Collyer Quay at Raffles Place, to serangoon ave 3.

The route started from Collyer Quay, down the expressway past Fullerton towards Suntec, swinging pass Raffles City at Cityhall, traversing Bugis Junction, heading towards Lavender, where i then traverse towards Balestier Road, bypassing Singapore Casket and then the famous Lavender Food Court. Turning away from Balestier, i headed pass Kwong Wai Shui Hospital and Boon Keng MRT, progressing along the NorthEast line... all the way till i reached the Caltex station at the junction of Upper Serangoon and Serangoon Ave 2, where i went from there to home.

In essence... it was the 133 bus route... sidestepping the Little India and escaping from Kallang /Geylang path, it was a good walkabout.

it helped clear my head somewhat and had some small talk with God along the way...

The CG was at countdown... which... i would have joined... except that this was the last day of 2005... i could not do a 2005 walkabout after that... and i had originally wanted to walkabout at East Coast... might have stopped and have a chat with Him... been meaning to have a long session with Him somewhere else for the longest time already

what would the future hold?
although i don't, He surely knows
