2006: the year of persistence

yea... this is the year it is, yea yea yea...

too long too often i had been letting go... giving up, before the end of the show...

No more... for the Lord has given the Word... this is the year to learn to persist, insist, resist and desist!

for how can one who lean on his own strength fulfill the calling of God upon his life? For the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak, indeed, can iteven lastfor a week... but he who trust in the Lord, blessed is he, for the Lord will uphold him with His right hand, He shall renew his strength, that those who trust in Him will mount up with wings as an eagle, he shall run and not be weary, walk and not faint... And men will see and marvel, for the Lord has done this thing! Let the weak say, I AM STRONG!

*starts to sweat and pray... Lord have mercy! the last year was an adventure, and by the skin of my teeth, i have escaped destruction... for the Lord was faithful and just, providing a way of escape, else i would have perished, and my hopes and desires with me. And if the theme this year is anythng to go by, i need to trust more in the Lord my God... for apart from Him, i can do nothing, for indeed, i am but for a moment, before i return to him, and this mortal shell returns to the dst of the earth. Let You Name be magnified, oh Lord, all the days of my life, though it is but a moment in eternity, let Your Name be magnified!
