judge

judge matters for yourself, for why should you depend on the words of another to form your own decision?

person to person interaction being what it is, it is very possible that the same person is both juvenile and proud to 1, yet matured and humble to another.

Is that inconsistency in the man/woman? If not, then why is it so?

Consider in light of the following:
by doing the same thing, you'll get the same results

it is also true that, by doing the same action, you should get a consistent reaction

so... then the problem of inconsistency does not like with the subject.

Then the reason of inconsistency must lie with the 2 persons interacting with the subject.

Taken in light of the Bible, that God resists the proud and gives grace to the humble... Popular sentiments echo the same for men and women (that they will resist the proud and give grace to the humble)... Then... if you point out that someone is proud... Are you sure you do not have a plank of that same accusation in your OWN eye?

And if you see a person as wise... is it truly that he/she gives wise counsel? Or is it that the person listens to all that you say, that all his/her words are echoes of your sentiments?

Judge nothing unless you have first judged yourself
Judge no one through others' opinions, but discover the truth for yourself
Judge nothing by your own standards, but judge all things according to the Word of God.
