Fool that i am.

the good start well, then fade away
the great starts, maintain a certain standard that is above the norm, then fade away
the excellent will set a new standard, and rewrite history. Their mantra: the best is yet to be.

Ponder

Better a mediocre that maintains a consistent standard of performance
than a prodigy that has performance spikes and depression dives.

Better Bart Chiu than 108.5

The first will work well, the latter will disappoint.

Brilliant flash at the start, then a crash so bad... can't see her in the dark.
Even when alternative employment is available, would not the people in charge consider your welfare and future above this temporal stopover?

or do you consider that only you would be concerned for your own welfare.

supervisors watch over the staff... as enforcers of discipline... as much as they need you to fulfill your role, do you not understand that they have to be there so that you are 'meeting the professional guidelines required', set by the management?

Beneath the requirement of duties also exist flesh and blood, mind and heart. A person who knows that... if you have secured a better opportunity, of career, either contract or permanent position, it is better for you to leave than to stay..? After so many years of working life, at the age of 26, do you not understand the protocols required of you? The professional ethics involved??

The manner by which 108.5 left was professional unacceptable.

and at least 1 other is following your footstep, whether unknowingly or not.

why should i care...? if only i can be as professionally detached as my peers... to watch people next to me crash and burn and yet life continues for me as if nothing happened...

can someone remove my heart for me? i could care less... might be healthier for me. At least, there would be less times in my life when i am pissed off... or sicken tothe point of feeling physically unwell... like yesterday.
